This show was an unlikely hit, yet it is adored by so many! The last installment of the series is a must-have addition to any Full House fan's DVD collection. If you like the series and you're considering buying this season, I'd say go for it! Just keep in mind that there are no special features unfortunately.

Not meant to be a thorough review, but season 8 is a fitting conclusion to an excellent series. I can put Full House in for my kids and leave the room knowing that the content will be just fine. You can't do that with many shows anymore. So great family fun, and an excellent value.

I grew up watching Full house; however, when the last couple seasons came out i was a teenager. I was so busy with my friends, I missed the last couple seasons. Now that there on dvd, i just bought this 8th season to complete my collection. It is really fun watching it for the first time now (Even thoguh im 29). my 3 year old loves watching it with me. There are lots of great scenes with the twins (becky and uncle jesse's) and also with Michelle. So glad we have something fun to watch together. The only thing I didnt like is how Stephanie is hanging out with that bad girl Gia. I remember teh earlier seasons when DJ was a teen, she was a pretty good kid. Stephanie is good, but the stories with her aren't as wholesome as the DJ ones were (example, riding in that car with those boys). In the end stephanie always does the right thing though, so I guess that is good.

I've ALWAYS thought I'd have this self-loathing deep inside if I ever found myself to watch and enjoy this wretched show for 25 minutes more than 5 times. That day never came THANK F'IN GOD! I can't tell you enough how bad this show is. Sure, everyone and their momma's hot in it (besides the goofy-goof ball, Kimmy. She's a witch!) and John Stamos (as usual) just oozes all that sexiness. I would...Anyway, back the review.

If you don't remind me I'll always trail off into a world of bittersweet dreams filled with awesomely-charming Men such as John Stamos! b^_^;;

I actually like DJ (Deej) and I saw a decent episode just today; her and her painfully-attractive boyfriend were having relationship troubles (although I think it was ALL in her pretty little mind): He was going off to college to leave her fending on her own with only a few calls and visits every couple of months. Trust me when I say I totally appreciate and bought her pain; I would feel the same if I had a life partner (or a boyfriend) who decided he wanted to go out-of-state (or wherever it was he wanted to go to attend schooling) and leave me lonely. I'd be a flipping mess!

I don't think thing did work out in the end. He goes off and she just has to bite her lip and deal. The twins were cute but terrible, terrible actors. No one was outstanding although the adults in particular were decent David Coulier, funny.

We've all heard it: 1st is the worst! SO TRUE! The first season of this show was horrendous. Seriously! Things only got GOOD on this show when the girls started to grow up and when Aunt Becky (Summerland's Lori Loughlin) came along. Plus, there was some cross-dressing and gay humor in a few episodes. Just don't buy the worst season! It is evil! Plus, everyone was ugly and stupid in the 1st season and the jokes weren't funny. Wait until season 3 or 4. Then it might get better. As for now...no.

You see, the thing in Full House is that you always know what they are going to say! And there is too much Drama and not enough funny stuff. They use the same jokes over and over and over! It gets repetetive too quickly and it has low production quality. A funnier show than this is The Cosby Show! And that came out like in the 70's! Do i really need to get into the voice acting? Maybe it only ran for 5 years is because people got tired of the reapeting of jokes! If you don't belive me watch something like the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. All of you people who think this show is frickin' funny, then you are eithe a tard or hypnotized by Jeff Franklin.. or both. And it's not worth 30 bucks! This should be on the Disney Channel! I still can't belive people actually think this show is hilarious!
There is too much Drama and not enough comedy. And the comedy is weak humored! And that kid that said at least the olsen twins were cute is defunetly right! A sad attempt to make us laugh. I'm with that kid. It's too original with way original jokes that suck. And it only ran for 5 years! The cosby show is actually funnier and it lasted for like 30 years and there jokes were better! Its like an oldman was directing every episode. It's that horrible!
The charactors

Danny Tanner-What a dork! He's not funny. He never will be.

Jesse Katsoapalis-Isn't he a hippie who thinks that he looks cool and his music is cool? They're lame!

Joey-Not funny. He makes worst jokes than the sitcom! "Cookie You!" What kind of joke is cookie you?

D.J-She's fat. Not funny.

Stephanie-She's not funny either! They make her say "How Rude!"
all the frickin' time!

Michelle-bad bad bad! And frickin' annoying!

Plus they always say "you hurt my feelings" like little babies!

Plus they say the worst jokes ever written in the history of tv!
Overall, it sucks. It sucks a lot. Hell, it's the worst show ever made. Full house is the biggest pile of crap i have ever seen, not entertaining at all, completley stupid with the worst jokes ever created! Plus the cover looks, well, the g word.
There are better sitcoms out there like fresh prince of bel air,
the cosby show is funny (but the cosby show sucks 2) dont buy this instead, Buy fresh prince of bel air because that is really funny! Full house is just g@#

Don't you dare click that no button! if you do, i will become more powerful than you could possibly imagine!

I cant believe all the good reviews for this horrible show. If I had a family that lame and Bob Saget as my dad I would jump off a cliff. The story lines are such a bore and so predictible.I would rather watch paint dry.

In response to a previous user below: Happiness isn't productive when it isn't genuine. Most, if not all of Full House's episodes aren't filled with real happiness or love. Although, maybe I'm looking too much into this; it IS only a sitcom after all. I suppose this syrupy-sweet schlock isn't for me (anymore)... but then again, I did regularly watch this show during its stint on TGIF before it moved to Tuesday nights and swapped timeslots with Family Matters in the early 90's. I was only 12 at the time, and my Fridays were pretty much free, so go figure. At least the show didn't rot my memory.

I'd never waste my money on this DVD, but it would be interesting to see the unaired pilot. Full House definitely isn't one of those shows worthy of this kind of DVD release, but catching a few of the early episodes on Nick@Nite isn't the worst way to thirty minutes. This first season is bearable (f*ck, Danny even says the word "hell" in the pilot), but the overly-PC quality of the show will make you despise its last few seasons.

If you want some edgier classic sitcoms, I suggest the first three seasons of Married With Children and 3rd Rock From the Sun, but none of that Seinfeld sh*t.

I'm giving the first season of Full House 2.5 stars out of 5. At least THIS season was bearable (from what I remember nearly 18 years ago). Avoid all the subsequent seasons like the plague.

O jeez where do I begin? I noticed that not one women (i think) gave Full house a bad review. why you ask? well I'll tell you matey, it seems that women who actually enjoy this show do not like to think. Don't argue for you know it be true, this is just another simple feel good show thats lacking even a hint of intelligence and creativity. But there are a lot of bad shows released so what makes this stand out, well i'll tell you, it actually made it into the 90's. Now I find this totally mind boggoling, but in a way it's kind of historic, this was the last stand for the family show in prime time and it clung on to life like a squid clings onto a harpoon. I guess why people liked it is that it was, in a way, an end of an era. In short this kinda reminded me a lot of "I Love Lucy" (which i liked) but in a negative way, it took the family premise but it was so cheesy it made anchovies taste like raw sugar...Matey
Note: so no one likes my review eh, well blow me down, i just be telling it like it is! so don't give me none of that karp and send a harpoon my way if you got the cannon balls!

I guess why people liked it is that it was, in a way, an end of an era. In short this kinda reminded me a lot of “I Love Lucy” (which i liked) but in a negative way, it took the family premise but it was so cheesy it made anchovies taste like raw sugar…Matey

Note: so no one likes my review eh, well blow me down, i just be telling it like it is! so don’t give me none of that karp and send a harpoon my way if you got the cannon balls!
